I registered AutoRun Wizard, but I am still getting the RJL Software logo popup window. Why?
The RJL Software notice comes from the autorun.exe in your Base Folder. Registering gives you a new registered program, but your existing projects and discs still contain the free autorun.exe until you save them again. Follow these steps:
- Uninstall the free version. Open Windows Settings, go to Apps > Installed apps (Windows 11) or Apps & features (Windows 10), and uninstall AutoRun Wizard. If you used the portable version, delete its folder. Also remove old shortcuts. If the free version stays installed, the installer may not replace its files.
- Install the registered version using the download instructions in your registration email.
- Open and save each project. Start AutoRun Wizard, choose File > Open Project and open the autorun.dat in your Base Folder. Then click Save (if Save is grayed out, change any setting and change it back). Saving copies the registered autorun.exe, autorun.dat and autorun.inf into your Base Folder.
- Test. Click Test. Your autorun now closes without the RJL Software notice.
- Burn or copy again. Discs and USB drives made with the free version stay unregistered. Create them again from the saved Base Folder.
Still seeing the notice? Delete autorun.exe, autorun.dat and autorun.inf from the Base Folder, recreate the project in the registered AutoRun Wizard, save, and test again.

Try it yourself. AutoRun Studio is free to download and fully functional - see how it handles this on your own USB drive or CD.
