Yes. AutoRun Wizard works the same way on CD-R, CD-RW, DVD-R, DVD+R, DVD-RW and DVD+RW discs, and on USB flash drives. It creates the files; your burning software writes them to whichever media you choose.

A few tips for rewritable discs:

• Burn them as a mastered data disc ("With a CD/DVD player" in File Explorer) and finalize them. A disc used "Like a USB flash drive" (Live File System) is not read reliably for AutoPlay on other PCs.
• Rewritable discs are great for testing. For the copies you hand out, write-once discs (CD-R, DVD-R, DVD+R) are read by more drives.
• Always click Test in AutoRun Wizard before burning.
